Simulation based Airway Management sessions

Airway management comprises a fundamental skill set for anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers. In clinical practice failure of airway management is a significant source of patient morbidity and mortality even in recent decades.

Simulation-based training is an essential technique to establish and maintain technical and nontechnical skills for airway management. 

EAMS offers you the opportunity to practice on different airway management situations including difficult airway and with airway management equipments in scenario based simulations during Simulation based Airway Management sessions at EAC 2022 in Antalya.

There will be 10 sessions with different airway management scenarios where participants can practice direct laryngoscopy, videolaryngoscopy, fiberoptic intubation, supraglottic airway (laryngeal mask, Combitube), surgical airway, airway exchange catheters. Crisis team leadership and communication will be practiced and discussed with airway management experts  in challenging airway cases.
